Okay, so, this is where my comparative comes into play. Think of the water as the inner energy that flows inside your body.

The physical illness a person is experiencing is, in part, the result from carrying one's emotional and or mental stress with them; those memories of an incident that you had gone through sometime in your life.
And then comes the clearing -
When we step into the practice of Reiki or any form of energy healing, we are not trying to force the water to flow again. We are not breaking the dam apart with brute strength or rushing in to fix what’s broken.
Instead, we come with presence. With stillness. With compassion.
We sit beside the creek of the body and listen. We ask the water what it needs.
And as we gently remove one stone at a time, an old wound here, a buried emotion there, the current begins to move again. Not by force, but by surrender.
This is what Reiki does. It doesn’t fix you.
It reminds you.
Reminds your body how to flow.
Reminds your heart how to open.
Reminds your soul that it was never broken to begin with.
As the water clears, so too does the mind. As the energy moves, so too does the pain. And what was once a stagnant pool becomes a shimmering stream once more alive, breathing, and whole.
My reiki journey began in 2014. I decided I was going to earn my degrees as to assist me in my own healing journey, as well as assist others in their healing journey and so I could teach the art of reiki healing to others. 3 years later I earned my 4th degree in the Usui lineage.
